Product overview
Details that help confirm the fit.
The Brahma EG25 SR is a normally closed solenoid gas valve designed for automatic gas control in commercial and industrial burner systems.
The valve remains closed when electrical power is removed, stopping gas flow to the burner. When the solenoid is energised, the valve opens rapidly and allows gas to pass through the valve body. The valve closes within one second when electrical power is disconnected.
The EG25 SR features adjustable maximum gas flow, allowing the gas supply to be matched with the burner capacity during commissioning. The valve has a DN 20 passage, a 25 mm internal opening and G 3/4-inch threaded inlet and outlet connections.
An integrated wire-mesh filter at the inlet helps prevent particles larger than 1 mm from entering the internal valve mechanism. This helps protect the valve seat and moving components against contamination.
The die-cast aluminium body provides a strong and lightweight construction for compatible burner gas trains. An internal rectification circuit supports quiet valve operation, while the IP54 enclosure protects the electrical assembly against dust and splashing water.
The valve can be installed vertically or horizontally. The flow-direction arrow marked on the valve body must correspond with the direction of gas movement through the system.
The EG25 SR is suitable for gases from the first, second and third gas families. Typical applications include forced-draught gas burners, commercial and industrial boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, furnaces, industrial ovens, hot-air generators and process-heating systems.
The correct EG25 SR.1 or EG25 SR.3 version must be selected according to the available gas pressure and electrical requirements. Installation, gas-flow adjustment, leak testing and burner commissioning must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
