Danfoss ignition transformer

The EBI4 range replaced the long running Danfoss EBI series and fits most domestic and light commercial oil and gas burners. Being electronic rather than a wound transformer, it starts reliably on a low supply, which matters where mains voltage sags.

Three variants cover most common applications. EBI4 M is two pole at 2 x 7.5 kV, EBI4 1P is single pole at 12 kV, and plain EBI4 is two pole at 15 kV. Two-pole variants are not interchangeable by appearance alone.

Tell us the complete code and cable arrangement on the old unit. When you enquire, send the burner make and model from the rating plate, the fuel it runs on, and the boiler or heater it is fitted to. A photograph of the old part or the rating plate is usually enough for us to match it exactly and quote the same day.
